How to Move a Control to a Zone

 

As a Builder & Contractor

neXtrack will apply the control to the site, however the Builder or Contractor can move it to a zone and transfer it from zone to zone. 

 

These instructions will show you how. In these instructions we have used a Builder however, the steps are the same for a Contractor.

 

Moving a Control to a Zone

One you sign into the neXtrack platform go to the side menu and click on ‘SITES’.

 

 

Select the site you need to move the Control to a Zone.


 

On the Site’s main dashboard click on the ‘Controls’ Tab.

 

 

Here you can see the Control serial number and under ‘Zone’ there is the symbol ‘-‘ meaning it is not in a zone. 

 

 

To move the Control to a zone, tick the checkbox and click on ‘Transfer Controls’

 

 

A small window will pop up and you will have the options to select the Zone and the Hazard for where you need to move the Control to.

 

Click on the down arrows to make your selections.

 

 

Click the green [Save] button.

 

 

The Control will now be in the Zone you selected. 

 

You will be taken back to the Site’s main dashboard. Navigate your way back to the ‘Controls’ Tab. – This is not a necessary step, this is just to display the Control in a learning capacity.

 

You will see that under the ‘Zone’, the Control is in the ‘Cutting Room’ Zone.

 

 

If you click on the ‘Site maps and Zones’ Tab you can see that the control is in the Site Map that the Zone is in. – This is not a necessary step, this is just to display the Control in a learning capacity.

 

 

If you click on the ‘Zone’ Sub-Tab, you can see that the Control in the Zone. – This is not a necessary step, this is just to display the Control in a learning capacity.

 

 

If you click on the Zone and click on the ‘Control’ Tab, you can see the Control you transferred. – This is not a necessary step, this is just to display the Control in a learning capacity.
