How to add a Traffic Light Widget

Site Dashboards

On the neXtrack Platform, there are a number of different widgets in which you can set up on a Site dashboard. One of which is the Traffic Light widgets.

For these to work, there needs to be a neXtrack HIP control monitor on the site.

There can be up to 6 Traffic Light widgets on a site dashboard and are available for all sensors on the neXtrack HIP control monitor, Dust PM4, Dust PM2.5, Dust PM10, Noise, Temperature, Humidity.

Adding the Traffic Light Widget

Once you have logged into the neXtrack Platform, select ‘Sites’ from your side menu.

Select the site you want to put the Traffic Light widgets on.

Click on the [+Widget] button

Click on the drop down menu and select ‘Traffic Light Widget’

Once the Traffic Light Widget is selected, more fields will appear.

NOTE – It is very important that you are aware of the current hazard thresholds in your state as they vary from state to state.

In this example, we’re adding a Dust PM4 Traffic Light widget (QLD standards as at 27.03.2024).

NOTE – It is important to use the decimal place on the higher end of the Thresholds.

For this our thresholds are:

Green: 0 – 299.9

Orange / Amber: 300 – 499.9

Red: 500+

You don’t need to click on the arrows beside the spaces for the threshold spaces, they are free type, just click and type.

We select average over time frame, the HIP the sensors belong to, and the sensor we want see on the Traffic Light widget.

Once we have input the information, click the [Add] button.

The Traffic Light widget will appear on the site dashboard.

A green dot means the exposure levels are ok.

These will change to Amber or Red if the threshold levels are exceeded in the zone being monitored by the neXtrack HIP monitor.

Click the olive coloured [Save] button on the dashboard to save the layout.
