How to Create a Zone on a Site with Image

Once you create a site & a site map, you can go onto building zones in the site map.

 

The zones can be different areas or enclosures for example. A cutting enclosure.

 

neXtrack recommends adding an image of the monitor in the zone for your records of correct set-up and any documentation related to the zone.

 

We will show you how to add files to the Zone in these instructions.


 

How to create a zone


Once you log into neXtrack, go to the left-hand menu and click on Sites.

 


Your sites will appear.


Click on the site you wish to add a zone or zones to.

 

 

You will be taken to the main profile of the site.


This will give you tab options.


Click on the ‘Site maps and Zones’ tab

 

 

Inside the ‘Site maps and Zones' tab you have another 2 tabs:

  • Site Maps
  • Zones

 

  • Please note you will need to create a Site Map before you can create zones. The zones are inside the Site Map area.

Click on the ‘Zones’ Tab



Here we create the Zones.

 

Type the name of the Zone and click on the down arrow to select the Site Map name.

 

 

Click on the green [Add Zone] button

 

 

The zone has now been created.


You can create as many Zones as required.


You can also remove the Zone.


To add a set up Image to the Zone, click on the Zone.

 

 

Inside the Zone, Click on the 'Attachments' Tab

 

In the 'Attachments' Tab you can upload PDF's Word documents, Excel, JPEG, and PNG files.

 

Upload as much Information as you can regarding this zone.

 

 

Click on the [Choose Files] button to select the Image to be uploaded.

 

You can also drag and drop the Image over the [Choose Files] button and It will upload the selected Image.

 

Click the [Green] save button.

 

 

You will be taken back to the Zone's main dashboard.

 

To view the attachment, click back on the 'Attachments' Tab

 

 

Click on the Blue down arrow to reveal the drop down menu.

 

Here you can select to 'View' or 'Delete' the attachment.

 

 

The attachment will open in a new window.
